CUENCA CÓMO VAMOS

Often, city planning is based on assumptions. At Huasipichanga, we believe that to change a city, you first have to understand it. That's why Cuenca Cómo Vamos is an initiative that democratizes technical information so that every decision about our city prioritizes people's well-being.

OUR AREAS OF ACTION

1.Evidence with Rigor 📊

Together with academia, we monitor key indicators of safety, mobility, and the urban environment. We bring statistics to the field to understand how life is really lived in each neighborhood.

2. Political Advocacy🏛️

We translate data into concrete proposals. Our current goal: to ensure that 33% of vehicle tax funds are allocated to creating safe school environments for children.

3. Citizen Transparency 🗣️

We make complex information easy to understand. We deliver reports to citizens and the media so that participation is informed and powerful.

WHO MAKES THIS POSSIBLE

This initiative is made possible thanks to the joint work of civil society, academia, the media, and the private sector:

The bridge to citizens. It ensures that the city's diagnosis reaches every home with verified information.

Our academic ally. It provides the scientific rigor, research, and technical reflection needed to improve quality of life.

We co-create participatory urban solutions. As the lead organization, we turn data into real interventions in public space.

It backs the quality of what's ours, promoting that the evaluation of our city be as excellent as the products that represent us.

It drives the vision of a competitive and sustainable city, connecting economic development with social well-being.
