Cristina Durán, from Cuenca, is an architect with a Master's degree in Architecture and Sustainable Habitat. Her work focuses on the rehabilitation of public spaces, with the primary goal of improving the quality of life in cities through urban interventions that promote social interaction, sustainability, and community well-being. She has experience in urban planning and placemaking projects, aiming to transform urban spaces into dynamic, inclusive, and functional environments for all their inhabitants. She is currently the project manager for "Alza tu Voz, Healthy Cities for Adolescents," in which Huasipichanga is the partner responsible for advocacy in Quevedo and Riobamba.
